We Accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is a federal program that helps make dental care more affordable for eligible Canadians who do not have private or employer dental insurance. If your adjusted household income is under $90,000 per year and you do not have coverage through work, school, or a pension, you may qualify.
A few things worth knowing about the CDCP:
Who is eligible? Currently, the plan covers seniors 65 and older, children under 18, and adults with a valid federal Disability Tax Credit certificate. Full expansion to all eligible Canadians is underway, with the next application window opening June 2, 2026.
Is it free? Not always. The CDCP is a subsidy, not a full coverage plan. Depending on your household income, you may still have co-payments. Households earning between $70,000 and $89,999 will pay a co-pay percentage; those under $70,000 generally have no co-pay.
How do I apply? Applications and renewals are managed through Canada.ca/dental. You must have your CDCP card and coverage start date confirmed before your appointment can be billed under the plan.

Can You Combine CDCP with Other Coverage?
