Your New Dentist in Centretown West Ottawa Is Your Neighbour Too
I have been a dentist for over a decade. I have worked in clinics that were efficient, well-equipped, and perfectly professional. But when I imagined building my own practice, I kept coming back to one question: what does it actually feel like to walk into a dental clinic in your own neighbourhood?
That question became Tooth & Co.
I am Dr. Amanda Campbell, and I grew up right here in Ottawa. I trained at the University of British Columbia's Doctor of Dental Medicine program and spent years building a breadth of clinical experience across general dentistry, sedation, oral surgery, root canal treatment, Invisalign, sleep apnea care, and more. I chose Centretown West as the home for my practice not because of foot traffic or demographics, but because it is genuinely my neighbourhood. I bike to the clinic in the morning. I run into patients at the grocery store and at Good Eats Cafe. I know this community, and I wanted to build something that belonged to it.
As a dentist in Centretown West, Ottawa, I believe you deserve more than a clean waiting room and a reminder to floss.
What Tooth & Co. Stands For
Every clinic you browse will say the same things: compassion, honesty, trust. We believe in all of those too. But words on a website are easy. Here is what those values actually mean in practice at Tooth & Co.
Honesty over treatment volume. I am not a fan of over treatment. I will never recommend a procedure that does not genuinely serve your health, and I will always take the time to walk you through every option, every risk, and every alternative before we do anything. You make the decisions. I give you the information to make them well.
Minimally invasive, first. Where possible, I favour approaches that preserve healthy tooth structure. Research from the Canadian Dental Association consistently supports minimally invasive dentistry as the gold standard for long-term oral health outcomes. That philosophy guides every treatment plan I put together.
Prevention before intervention. I am a genuine advocate for healthy diets and lifestyles as the first line of defence against dental decay. A lot of what we do at Tooth & Co. is education, because a patient who understands their oral health is a patient who needs less treatment.
Accessibility. One of the reasons I invested in advanced training across so many treatment areas is that I want patients to be able to receive comprehensive care in one place, without costly referrals to specialty clinics. Whether you need a routine cleaning, a nightguard, wisdom tooth removal, or a root canal, we can handle that here.
A Clinic That Feels Like It Belongs Here
When you walk into Tooth & Co. for the first time, I hope you notice that it does not look or feel like a dental clinic in the traditional sense. The space was designed with deep intention: deep forest greens and warm gold accents, walnut wood detailing, floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the room with natural light, and a dramatic botanical wallpaper that makes the reception area feel calm rather than clinical. Every material, every finish, and every detail was chosen with care, with the help of local Ottawa companies for design, construction, and technology.
We also built with your comfort and wellness in mind beyond aesthetics. Ceiling-mounted air purifiers and acoustic tiles reduce the noise and air pollution that are standard in most clinical environments. The clinic sits right at the corner of Gladstone and Rochester, which makes it genuinely easy to find and accessible to walk, bike, or transit to.
And then there is Mushroom. My mini poodle and Tooth & Co.'s certified therapy dog, Mushroom graduated from Companion Paws in the spring of 2026 and has been welcoming patients ever since. If you would like her to say hello when you visit, just let us know.
